After playing second fiddle to Sony’s PlayStation 3 over the past couple months, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 rebounded nicely for November, despite many analysts predicting otherwise. Microsoft’s console moved over 100K more units on the month than PlayStation 3. “We had an amazing month. It was our biggest November ever for our business,” said Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg. “Not only did we outsell the PS3, but we actually drove more revenue at retail than our competitors.” As expected, though, Nintendo’s hardware outsold everyone, with combined Wii and DS sales reaching close to three million units.

Next Internet Explorer browser, Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) will be coming better equipped than the existing Microsoft browsers. IE9 will come with a improved image and text rendering abilities. This will be done by using the computer’s graphic processor unit to accelarate the browser. I must say Microsoft is already feeling the heat from the sucess of Mozilla Firefox and the new Chrome browser.

Microsoft is offering a sneak peak at a redesigned version of its MSN.com home page that features a cleaner design, a more prominent Bing search box, and direct links to social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The company plans to formally launch the redesign early next year.
