Google comes up with a new search interface

Google came up with a new interface for their search engine. Although initially it feels like a little too much eye-candy, once you get used to it, it makes you just want to search more and more. I must say, its pretty addictive.

To turn your old Google search page that looks like this

Google's old interface

Google's old interface

Into this

Google's new interface

Google's new interface

Follow the step’s in sequence

1) Go to google.com . (Not the local site that is automatically fetched as per your geographic location like google.us or google.ca. There is a link at the bottom of the page which lets you visit the actual google.com page)

2) Insert the following javascript code into your browser without any http:// or anything of the likes. Don’t worry, the code has been tested by us and does not contain any malware or suspicious code.

javascript:void(document.cookie=“PREF=ID=20b6e4c2f44943bb:U= 4bf292d46faad806:TM=1249677602:LM=1257919388:S=odm0Ys-53ZueXfZG;path=/; domain=.google.com”);

3) Press enter. Now refresh or reload your browser/tab and voila.

If you’d like to revert back to the old design, you need to delete the cookie that google stores with the name PREF like this.

Google cookie delete
